Fully Automatic Strapping Machine

The M. J. Maillis Vario Master 9460TU and TL models are high performance but low maintenance, fully automatic vertical strapping machines. The machine has the automatic strap insert GS41 Strapping head as standard. Both models have 'telescopic' strap tracks enabling strap to be fed at any height giving increased throughput and high reliability. The 9460TL is fitted with an electrically powered strap bayonet allowing strap to be fed through the pallet void. The 9460TU has a closed bottom track where through pallet strapping is not required. These enable strapping of product loads with or without the pallets. The machines are typically used to strap large packs in logistics, general manufacturing, paper and board, and construction industries.

Advance controls on the machine enable simple and reliable operation. The machine would normally be integrated into driven packaging lines. The product load (pack) is positioned using sensors and automatic height detection. The pack remains stationary; the strapping unit descends by toothed belt drive to top of pack. Strap is then fed around the pack, tension applied (steplessly adjustable from 50N - 4000N), and sealed. The pack is then moved to the next strapping position or exits the strapping machine. Strapping unit raises and pack moves to next strap position. Vario Master 9460 is CE marked for safety and performance.
