At the heart of our specialist strapping machine range is the GS41 strapping head. This has been developed as a result of more than 30 years' experience in the manufacture of this type of machine.
It has been designed to cope with a multitude of applications using both medium and heavy duty polypropylene strapping in widths of 9mm, 12mm, 16mm and 19mm and tensions up to 5,500N depending on the strapping machine being used. The GS41 head seals straps by means of a friction weld which, in turn, gives a seal efficiency of almost 90%.
As their name suggests, specialist strapping machines have been developed by Maillis for a number of industrial applications and to handle palletised and un-palletised loads, or both, using the same machine. |
